Result: 4-0 (Loss)
Player of the match: Nayanna Sira
Moor Park started the game the brighter scoring an early goal. But then Malvern started to create some good chances down the right-hand side of the pitch, with Nayanna Sira and Megan Symth passing the ball well, and moving Malvern towards the opposition goal.
There were some great spells for Malvern during the first half with Megan Symth, Saffy Wickes, Siena van Dam and Nayanna Sira linking well up front. This produced a shot at goal but the ball went just wide of the goal. Towards the end of the half Moor Park scored a couple of quick goals making it 3-0 going in at half time.
In the second half, Malvern was very strong defensively with Josi Jebens, Anna Shulkina and Olga Mikhina all playing well, making good tackles and linking up the play. Moor Park then started to get a foothold in the game with Sarah-Jane Starkey making some good saves.
The second half performance was some of the best hockey the girls have played. Everyone should be proud of what they not only did today but all season long.
This was Anna Shulkina and Elena Kotsika first ever game for Malvern College and they were outstanding. Well done to you both for representing the school in such a good fashion
